Davines strives for sustainability by using 100% renewable energy in manufacturing, 100% of their packaging is carbon neutral as well 80% of Davines ingredients are organically certified natural or modified naturally.

Davines hair products are free of sulfates, parabens, and artificial colours. Davines is formulated with essential oils and plant extract that are grown throughout Italy. Every Essential Haircare family contains a unique active ingredient from an Italian Slow Food Presidium.

In 2016 the Davines Group officially became a certified B Corporation. Being B Corp certified is huge; it means that the company is meeting very high standards of performance in all areas. From employee wellbeing to environmental impact and sustainability in all materials used. 

To become a B Corp the company needs to complete a B Impact Assessment, a  procedure that analyzes every aspect of business. Companies whose score is higher than 80 points out of a total of 200 can become B Corps. Davines became a B Corp with a score of 99 in 2016. In 2020 they have improved their score up to 117.4 points!
